Health & Safety Policy
This health & safety policy describes how we prevent and protect your child from any harm whilst in our care. Clements Multisports considers health and safety as the most important factor when running a sport session. We comply with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 at all times.

Each staff member follows the health and safety policy and is responsible for:

-
Carrying out a risk assessment of the area being used
-
Maintaining a safe environment during activities
-
Having up to date first aid training
-
Reporting all injuries to parents/carers with a written incident form.

Equipment
All equipment is checked prior to activities for any damage or broken pieces that could cause harm to a child or coach.

Security

During the sport session no child will be allowed to leave the premises unless prior permission has been given by the parent/carer.

During indoor sessions all external doors are locked. During outdoor sessions the perimeter will be fenced and gates will be closed.
There will always be 2 persons supervising sport sessions.

Emergency Contact

Two Contact numbers will be gathered for each child in case of an emergency, should we not be able to get in touch with the primary contact.
